TRACK Tip Tuesday on Creating and Using Gift Cards

When refunds are happening left and right (we hope for not much longer), a great way to make sure the guest decides to return to your property specifically when they decide to travel again is to refund their full amount or partial refund with a gift card. 

There is not a direct way to issue a giftcard in the TRACK software, but you can utilize the City Account under the Accounting platform to act as a gift card. This feature will hold the funds in a liability account until the guest is ready to book again. A City Account is created and used on a guest specific basis, so you do not have to worry about mixing up funds.
